The league stage of the Ranji Trophy is ready to be held from February 16 to March 5, as per a revised schedule ready by the BCCI. The BCCI was pressured to postpone the premier home event attributable to rising COVID circumstances within the nation. It was initially scheduled to begin from January 13. The seemingly venues for the 38-team occasion are Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Trivandrum, Cuttack, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Rajkot.
The format has been tweaked and there might be eight teams of 4 groups every with the plate group comprising six groups.
No red-ball cricket has taken place in India for the reason that Ranji Trophy last in March 2020.
